What to Expect When Getting Custom Upholstery

Chrisicos Interiors is proud to offer custom upholstery services available through our luxury design showroom in Boston. Our program is uniquely tailored to each customer’s needs and we offer an array of transitional styled options.

Our studio features an upholstered chair used as a visual example. It has two different styles of legs, two different arms and two different loose cushions so you can experiment.

This one chair allows you to determine which choices connect best with your home design. We offer a variety of options we can discuss with you, too, and our upholstery program is priced to be affordable for family rooms, living rooms and other rooms in your home.

Our custom upholstery in Park Plaza is available for chaise lounges, sectionals, sofas, chairs, ottomans, love seats and sleepers. You can create a matching set or design the one perfect piece you need to complete whatever room you have in mind.

Here are a few tips to keep in mind when working with Chrisicos Interiors to design your upholstery:

Your options are endless. Beyond switching out a fabric or embellishment, try shortening arms, reshaping wooden elements, and adding or eliminating skirts to transform a piece into your own design.

Don’t forget about comfort. Premium padding and fabric that feels nice against your skin will make you love your new furniture even more.

Consider adding some cording. It does a great job of covering the welts between the upholstery and the wooden parts of your furniture. You can add it in the same color as the upholstery or a contrasting color.
