March 2017 Newsletter

In 2002, Chrisicos Interiors worked with our first client, taking their dreams and making it a reality. Fifteen years later, we’re as proud of that first project as one recently on display in our local shelter magazine Design New England.

Design New England: Urban Compact

Chrisicos was proud to be featured and our client was excited to showcase their Charlestown brownstone. This is truly an urban compact home for enjoyment during the week that serves as a low-maintenance oasis.

Design New England: Great Room

Built-in cabinets allow for multiple options within the great room, opening space and shelving for the dining room and the kitchen. It is a hidden feature within a great room, ready to create the first meal of the day basking in sunlight, a meal at midday at a marble island counter or get evening casual on a custom banquet fitted to the bay inside this 19th century brownstone.
19th Century Brownstone - Den
The den features a a functional sleep sofa as the centerpiece, perfect for sitting with friends, lounging after a long day or sleeping along its grey herringbone men’s wear style fabric. Gray Ikat patterned drapes complete the ensemble. The paler gray and white geometric patterned area rug in the den allows the faux leather contemporary chair and ottomans to shine even brighter in emerald green.
green pillow and curtain
It’s no wonder why Greenery is the color of the year for Pantone. Our silk floral arrangement, locally crafted artwork and custom pillow in a Malachite pattern present this refreshing and revitalizing shade that sings of spring.

Upcoming events and activities:

  • I wrote an article about 2017 Spring Trends that will be in the Boston Guardian on March 31. This will also be the topic of my presentation in April at Millennium Place, located just moments from our luxury design showroom at Park Plaza.
  • Please let us know if you and your guests would like to attend our May 3 musical performance that we are hosting with our new neighbor M. Steinert & Sons, a concert on the Spirio piano and design thoughts on integrating a grand piano into your home.

I personally invite you to gather with your friends for a fun escapade or a weekend afternoon experience, using our studio in the heart of downtown as the focal point. It is available as both a meeting and work place, just moments from the Public Garden and perfect for planned evening receptions or a scheduled celebration. The showroom is also a boutique with an ever-evolving inventory that is constantly adapting to match the style of the moment with one of a kind home items and gifts.

Julie Foley
Starting in April, Julie Foley, Executive Assistant extraordinaire, will be inside the studio three days a week. Also in April our showroom’s doors will be open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday through Friday and by appointment. As always, we are ready to take your vision for an amazing home and make it a reality.
